This is such a beautiful and unique art to wear top for the fall season! I combined a soft hand painted bamboo jersey together with a solid plum cotton lycra jersey. I hand painted the bamboo jersey with cinamon, green and purple shades and then sun printed it with leaves from garden including maple and cypress leaves. Because the painting is done on wet fabric you obtain a beautiful watercolor effect and it creates new color shades as they blend together. The sun printing technique consists in painting on wet cloth and then apply some objects on to the wet painted fabric. It is then left to dry in the sun. Once the fabric is dry, it will leave the marks of the objects that were placed on the fabric. This top has a femine and flattering but also modern cut.
