You will love to wear this unique wearable art piece! I combined a soft hand painted bamboo jersey together with a solid brown cotton lycra jersey. I hand painted the bamboo jersey with brown, green and orange shades and then sun printed it with maple and cypress leaves from my garden. Because the painting is done on wet fabric you obtain a beautiful watercolor effect and it creates new color shades as they blend together. The sun printing technique consists in painting on wet cloth and then apply some objects on to the wet painted fabric. It is then left to dry in the sun. Once the fabric is dry, it will leave the marks of the objects that were placed on the fabric. I gave this top a femine and flattering but also modern cut.
