This contemporary mixed media floral painting was inspired by the color palette of fall season. This is the result of what I would call a "happy accident". I had something completely different in mind when I started it. I was going to paint a pink bouquet .... But I still had some fresh paint on my palette from another painting and it accidently ended up on my canvas. I just loved it so I continued with this color palette instead and went wild. This original artwork is hand painted with acrylics on a gallery wrapped canvas size 20" x 20". This painting is built up on several layers that bring depth to it and you can see many details and marks showing up from the under layers. It also has textures created with collage of pieces of newspaper. The painting wraps around the edges, therefore you don't need to frame it. The painting is varnished and signed in front and back. This unique piece of art has a wire in the back for proper hanging.
