This original mixed media floral painting is a tribute to my grandmother. She had beautiful pink peonies in her garden and every year I would go there and pick up of her peonies to make a bouquet for our home. This contemporary impressionist artwork is hand painted with oil and cold wax on a birch cradled wood panel size 12" x 18". Oil and cold wax medium allows you to work in layers, adding and removing, allowing you to reveal some under layers and to create lots textures. This unique piece of art is signed in the front and back. The edges are painted with solid black. It comes with a wire for proper hanging
