This original mixed media floral painting is a tribute to my grandmother. She had beautiful pink peonies in her garden and every year I would go there and pick up of her peonies to make a bouquet for our home. This contemporary impressionist artwork is hand painted with oil and cold wax on Arches oil paper size 12" x 9". Oil and cold wax medium allows you to work in layers, adding and removing, allowing you to reveal some under layers and to create lots textures. The painting's size is about 8.25" x 10.75". It comes mounted in a white mat size 14" x 11". This unique piece of art is ready to frame and is signed in the front and back. It is sealed and varnished for protection. The painting comes in a protective sleeve.
