It Feels Like Spring! Painting

This contemporary artwork was inspired by one of my walks in the trails and the awakening of spring. It features a beautiful woodland scenery with daffodils flourishing along a creek and a blossoming tree. When I did the walk that inspired this painting its was winter but we still had some beautiful brown autumnal shades. As I saw the first daffodils popping up along the creek I decided that I wanted to combine the fall and spring colors and bring a spring spirit in this artwork. It is hand painted with acrylics on a stretched canvas size 20" x 16". This artwork is signed in the front and back and is finished with a clear varnish. The borders are painted and it's ready to hang. It has a wire in the back.
