This contemporary artwork is a study that I did for a larger piece. It was inspired by one of my walks in the trails and the awakening of spring. It features a beautiful woodland scenery with daffodils flourishing along a creek and a blossoming tree. When I did the walk that inspired this painting its was winter but we still had some beautiful brown autumnal shades. As I saw the first daffodils popping up along the creek I decided that I wanted to combine the fall and spring colors and bring a spring spirit in this artwork. It is hand painted with acrylics on 140lb cold press watercolor paper. The size of this contemporary artwork is 10.5" x 8". It comes mounted in a white mat size 14" x 11". This unique piece of art is ready to frame and is signed in the front and back. It is sealed and varnished for protection. The painting comes in a protective sleeve.
