This original mixed media abstract landscape painting was inspired by our hike to the Amicalola Falls during the fall season. The colors were absolutely amazing. In most of the paintings that are inspired by our trips or hikes I'm not trying to reproduce exactly what I saw, but more what I felt in the moment. It is hand painted with warm colors using oil and cold wax on Arches oil paper size 12" x 9". Oil and cold wax medium allows you to work in layers, adding and removing, allowing you to reveal some under layers and to create lots textures. The painting's size is about 10.75" x 8.25". It comes mounted in a white mat size 14" x 11". This unique piece of art is ready to frame and is signed in the front and back. The painting comes in a protective sleeve.
