This vibrant but minimalist original mixed media artwork will definitively create a unique contemporary decor for any home or office! This textured artwork is handmade using recycled materials on stretched canvas size 10" x 10". I recycled some paper towels that I use for painting. My paper towels always end up so beautiful that I can't throw them away, hahaha!!! So I keep them like treasures. I had to create a piece of art with some of those. I treated the paper to seal it and stiffen it and created a sculptural shape that I then attached to the painted canvas. I also used one of my hand printed linen fabrics and the little string on the twig comes from one of my hand dyed fabrics. The artwork is not varnished, so it's best to place avoid direct sunlight. It is signed in front and back. This unique piece of art has a wire in the back for proper hanging. Its small size is perfect for small spaces or for small gifts.
