This impressionist landscape painting was inspired by my walks in the greenway and the color palette came out from a very happy accident while I was working on a different painting. I thought it would be perfect for this marsh scenery. It is very peaceful and serene. See that yellow circle in the painting??? That's from my very first layer and after applying some alcohol drops on the second layer. It created this yellow circle that I decided to keep in the painting as it feels like the sun is going down in the waters. This artwork is hand painted with acrylics on cold press watercolor paper size 9" x 12" and has some metallic gold accents. The painting's size is about 8.25" x 10.75". It comes mounted in a white mat size 11" x 14". This unique piece of art is ready to frame and is signed in the front and back. It is sealed and varnished for protection. The painting comes in a protective sleeve.
