This original impressionist floral artwork was hand painted with oils on a loose linen canvas sheet size 6" x 9" that I then mounted on a hand painted flat wood panel size 9" x 12". This painting is minimalist and I decided not to paint the linen background as I wanted its natural color to show in contrast with the bouquet. This was inspired by some of my aunt's artworks and other impressionist artists who painted directly on the raw canvas without any background. The wood panel was painted with a very light ivory neutral shade. The painting is signed in the front and back. It is framed with a gold plein air style frame.
