Spring is Coming! Painting

This contemporary artwork was inspired by one of my favorite seasons: spring! I love to see the nature weaking up from the winter, see all the trees and flowers blossoming, listen to the birds celebrating spring .... This original mixed media painting features an expressionist abstract meadows landscape with a blooming cherry blossom tree. It is hand painted with acrylics on a stretched canvas size 20" x 16". While most of the painting is done with brushes I used a palette knife to create the blossoms and add more texture to the artwork. This wall art is signed in the front and back and is finished with a clear varnish. The borders are painted and it's ready to hang. It has a sawtooth hanger in the back.
