Summer in the Marshes Painting

This original mixed media abstract landscape painting will take you on a walk in the marshes in the middle of the summer season. I used a very limited color palette to create this painting. The yellow and green colors take you right in the summer season. This artwork is hand painted with oil and cold wax on Arches oil paper size 12" x 9". Oil and cold wax medium allows you to work in layers, adding and removing, allowing you to reveal some under layers and to create lots textures. The painting's size is about 10.75" x 8.25". It comes mounted in a white mat size 14" x 11". This unique piece of art is ready to frame and is signed in the front and back. It is sealed and varnished for protection. The painting comes in a protective sleeve.
